The installation of everything was time consuming. It wasn’t until I read the manuals for garritan aria, izotope, and the drum kit software that I got things fully registered. Just dumping in the codes during installation isn’t enough.
I also had to manually scan within acid for aria to be brought in, as well as izotope and the drum kit. It helps to know how to deal with audio software to get everything in place and enabled.
With all that, I haven’t even used the software yet. There’s a ton of loops in the acid library which is great. I’ve used garritan before and there looks to be a good orchestra sample selection although it may not be as extensive as the stand alone personal orchestra version. The drum kit software seems good. This is a pretty feature rich offering for a bucks. It’s just more tools in the tool box for me.
