Yes I am using windows I’m not sure what you mean by that I use my onboard sound chip. I don’t have an external audio interface, but the built in interface is called realtek high definition audio. What else do you want to know about my pc etc.?

I have good advice for you, buy an external audio interface like the Focusrite Scarlett Solo or 2i2 3rd gen. Your sound quality will improve drastically, and you make your music making live easier The Realtec chips aren’t designed to run DAW’s. I don’t want you to spent money, I do not know if you can afford right now, but you can improve your rig tremendously by doing so. A side note: don’t go cheap on this one, but go Focusrite, Presonus, Steinberg etc – as these companies have good drivers, and will make a stable system.
